Digital Campaign

REW (Real Estate Works) aims to be the ultimate real estate guide for residents in BC and seeks partnerships with companies that align with this mission. Last year, online loan service Spring Financial expressed interest in being featured on REW’s blog, “The Guide,” to promote their services. This collaboration allowed REW to educate renters and homebuyers about the additional expenses associated with moving in Canada.

Illustrator & Designer

For this project, I chose to use illustrations to enhance the information, avoiding stock images that often feel staged and generic. While this approach was more time-consuming, it allowed me to creatively represent the additional costs associated with buying or renting a home.

One playful idea that came to mind was Edward Scissorhands trimming hedges, which inspired me to illustrate a hedge dragon guarding a castle to symbolize maintenance costs. I also created a haunted house to convey the idea of renovations. I believe that taking the extra time to develop these imaginative concepts really paid off.

Digital Campaign

An article titled “The Real Price of Moving in Canada,” featuring Spring Financial, was published to provide valuable insights to readers. To maximize its reach, we launched a digital campaign that included paid Google ads, native ads, and social media promotions, all designed to drive traffic to REW’s blog, The Guide.

Display Ads

I created multiple versions of Google display ads with tailored messaging to engage the real estate audience. These ads directed viewers to The Guide while highlighting Spring Financial’s same-day personal loans for unexpected moving costs. By testing different designs and messages, we maximized attention and engagement.
